“I don’t want to live on the moon…”

Wednesdays are when my son, Kristo, and I have to get out of bed really really early and head off to the office before 7am. Yes, it’s my coded day (that means it’s illegal {according to Philippine law} for my car to be on the road from 7am to 7pm – so the goal is to  be at our office parking lot before 7am!).

As tough as Wednesdays are to drag ourselves out of bed, it’s well worth it when we get to the office. We usually start the day with a trip to 711 to get whatever we want for breakfast, then Kristo, my nanny and I all have breakfast together at the office. We usually spend about half an hour to catch up and just talk, talk, talk.

After breakfast, Kristo usually runs around with his paper plane while I load up some videos for us to watch for homeschool. Wednesday is our video day…and today, I decided to check out Sesame Street on YouTube…and that..that just brought me down memory lane!!

I can’t believe I found my absolute favorite song/video clip from Sesame Street AND I was watching it with my SON!!! It’s amazing how it felt like I was back in our little flat in Hong Kong, lying on the floor watching and singing along…but halfway thru the song I found myself back in 2009, amazed…wow….I was about Kristo’s age when I first saw the video and now…my son and I are watching it — TOGETHER!!!!

So, just like how we shared that special moment…I want to share the video with you guys too!!!

and..aside from that awesome video, check this out. Kristo asked me to play this video a few times, by the second time it played he was already singing along. I must say, they really came up with AWESOME songs! I love how they used an acoustic guitar for this song!!! 🙂 Don’t you just miss Sesame Street?!
